Description

Explores current trends, practices, research, development, and use of hands-on, inquiry-based integrated Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) activities in elementary school classrooms. Topics are drawn from biology, chemistry, earth science, and physics and infused with mathematical and technological content. Students will develop computational thinking through basic coding activities. Through a field component, students will apply STEM practices in the classroom. A fieldwork component of 15 hours of fieldwork are required.
