Early Childhood Mathematics Education

Description

This course will enable early childhood teacher candidates to learn and gain an understanding of how to design and implement Mathematical and Science concepts in a developmentally appropriate approach to young children. Teacher candidates will learn to plan, develop, and implement Mathematical and Science early childhood curriculum using questioning techniques, technology, differentiation, and assessment techniques. In this course, teacher candidates will deepen their understanding of early Mathematical and Scientific concepts, principles, and inquiry processes. All coursework will be aligned to the Next Generation Standards.
