Description
Teaching and Learning in an Integrated Early Childhood Curriculum includes developmentally appropriate application for all the State and NAEYC standards to its core curriculum. The focus of this course is to expose the students to different approaches for creating an integrated early childhood curriculum that is rigorous, engaging, and relevant to children’s interests and promotes positive social/emotional skills. Instructional design, implementation, formal and informal assessments, and classroom management strategies are included. Field experience (minimum of 15 hours) in this course is linked with student teaching in early childhood education settings.
