Focuses on art and disabilities in early childhood education and aims to be a space of discussion of ideas and practices related to the field. Class discussions will include how artistic practices and sensibilities can mediate aspects of young children’s lives, including, importantly, young children with disabilities. Contingent to advisor’s permission, this course will be available for graduate students in early childhood education; students in special education; and students of the “Teachers on Sabbatical” program.
